Question: nutritional wise, what is the difference between off brands/cheap brand FOODS to the more expensive brands?
im just curious if the cheaper/off brands (like presidents choice, or no name, those cheaper ones) and the more known and more pricy brands, the difference between nurtrional wise. (like calories, more sodium in one kind of another) just generally

There isn’t much of difference if your comparing Great Value ceral to like Reese Puff. Its just something for consumers to say “Hey! I bought this less expensive ceral” If your comparing it to something sold at a Health Market there is a huge difference,less calories,no perservatives, no hormones in the meat or nitrates or high frutcose corn syrup in drinks.

There may be some differences, but in the most part I would believe the ingredients and nutritional values to be very similar.

Sometimes the cheaper brands taste worse, the only good generic brand food i’ve ever liked was gingerale at a local grocery store. Sometimes cheaper food is better, the organic sections often has food that is cheaper (by amount), and its better from you. Sometimes cheaper food has more chemicals and fillers and also can have more calories and stuffs.

Nobody really knows what’s insdie those things. Have you ever tried opening an Apple product? No hardware brand name, no S/n, nothing.It’s supposedly better because the upgraded processor and memory. Just don’t do those required updates as any software requires a faster and faster processor and memory.
