Question: How can you tell the difference between a fake Marc Jacobs wallet and a real one?
I’ve read alot about telling the difference between fake and real Marc Jacobs BAGS, but what I want to know is how can I tell the difference between the WALLETS? I am planning to purchase a Marc By Marc Jacobs Jelly Jacquard Clutch Wallet from ebay. I would just like to know some red flags, what to look for in the pictures and what questions to ask the seller before I buy.

they always have Marc Jacobs purses and wallets at marshalls

look inside the wallet, the real one should have the marc jacobs logo(tag) somewhere in the wallet, the fake has a blank tag

You should straight up ask the seller if it’s real or not. If they avoid answering directly yes or no, then odds are it’s not real. (I know I’ve had problems with this in the past.) As a seller, they are obligated to tell you the truth about the item they’re selling. If you end up buying the bag and find out it’s not real, you can always send it back for a refund. Ebay accepts returns when the item is not as described by the seller.

Jelly Jacquard was produced to offer an even more affordable alternative to leather marc by marc goods, I would be really surprised if anyone were to bootleg it, in fact i would be surprised if anyone made fake marc by mark products at all, considering it’s meant to be a more accessable line.
