Banning plastic bags in Oregon or anywhere else is a waste of time and money. If they ban plastic shopping bags like have tried to do in Australia, people just use the manufactured plastic bags for bin liners etc so instead of recycling their free shopping bags for that purpose, they have to spend money to buy the others.
